Odd behaviour!

This morning when I woke up and uncovered Audrey, she slicked all her feathers back thin and her pupils went tiny! (They weren't pinning, they just stayed tiny for the few minutes she did this weird behaviour lol) and then she was moving her neck/head from side to side. Not a sway, more of a jolt. Her feathers weren't fluffed up so I wasn't sure if this was some kind of aggression? Does anyone know? Very weird LOL.

Shes acting normal again now, but I just wanted to know if anyone thought it might be aggression? She didn't seem angry lol it was just weird!

Maybe you startled her awake Do you talk to her before removing her cover? If not I recommend you start

Haha nah she was already awake, I could hear her mumbling, and I usually do say Hiii baby while I start taking the cover off so I dont think it would have been that lol! I thought maybe she was excited? But I dont know :O She's just an oddball hahahaha!

Oliver does that too! He thinks of it as game. I copy what he does, and he parts and chuckles afterwards. I neover thought it to be aggression, but it does happen when I accidentally startle him. He usually just does it randomly. I doubt it's a bad thing, cuz Oliver loves this "game." Does Audrey react to it afterwards?

Maybe she just wants a new way to get your attention. Or you startled her. Like I said, Oliver does this sometimes if he's surprised. If she does it again, copy her and see if she reacts.

Well when audrey was doing it I was saying in a really high pitch ohhhh nooo what's wrong! and moving my head around too and she seemed to get excited by that and was moving her head faster, so maybe it was just a new attention thing lol! :O

Ya, Oliver goes faster and faster the more I play with him. It's probably an attention thing. =)

My ekkie does this to! It doesn't seem aggressive, it's almost like he gets all this built up excitement and this is his way of letting it lose. Beeker will hop around and do that crazy head thing at the same time sometimes, and if I do it back he does seem to mimic it more intensely and getsna kick outa it. But it is def weird and funny!! Silly birds

Hhahaha it is funny ,at first I was like oh no what are you doing silly LOL but I said it realllly over the top and in a high pitch voice and she seemed to really like it ! Our funny birdies hahaha.
