Ingrediants:
3/4 cups whole wheat flour
1 1/2 cups Quaker oats
1/2 cup combined chopped holiday fruit and nuts and coconut mixture.....I make my own.
1/2 cup unsweetened natural applesauce
1/3 cup dark mollasses
1 teasp cinnamon
1/2 teasp cloves
1 teasp vanilla 1 egg.
Mix it all up really well and roll into balls about the size of large Walnuts.
Grease the cookie sheet first (using Pam, olive oil or coconut oil).
bake at 325 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes or as long as it takes.
Add more oats if needed.....another egg or more applesauce if wanted moister.
You really want this fairly stiff.

Just before serving, dust with Hagen's Prime Vitamins....they taste lovely and you may then feel entirely virtuous about cookies for your feathers. They have now become highly nutritious.

LOL, not me! Whoever came up with the recipet I guess!

Okay I admit it, I made some for the guys, and yep I even tried them. Lovely, wasn't too keen on the pellets I put in tho'

What's meant by 'Holiday' fruits and nuts? Does that mean seasonal fruit? Strawberries, etc. Or the fruits that are used in that bread stuff around christmas time? I can't think of what it's called right now, except that my great aunt always gives them to us as presents

maybe they mean seasonal

Yeah, probably. Sorry I'm so stupid right now. I have a few days off before my next classes start, and I refuse to use my brain until I have to

:18: :18: :18: I'm sure if I had one of those things I'd use it. :18:
