Nut flavored pellets

I just got Josie nut flavored pellets. They are almost the size of peanuts in the shell and she is not happy with them. She rummaged through her bowl when I first put them in there like she was looking for her favorite. Finally, she started taking them out one by one and cracking them like they are nuts, then she spits them out and says that they are bad. It is actually quite funny. I'm hoping she realizes that she can eat the whole thing, or I just wasted $20 on "bad" nuts.

LMAO...sorry, but I can't help but laugh, especially because I went through the EXACT same scenario with my fids. Neither Niko, nor Sam, nor Hunter wanted ANYTHING to do with those big pellets.

Niko was the worst. He was so upset about me trying to mix them under his regular food, that he would swipe his beak through the bowl, emptying his entire dish each and every time he spotted some of them.

For me it was truly wasted $$. AND I had made the mistake of mixing them under their other mixes. It took me a good long while to fish them all out of a 10 pound container of food mix. :54:
