This is what I call true companionship. The dog maybe the only thing that loves him in this world and he really loves this dog.

That is a wonderful photo, and I often remark to people that no one will ever love you like your pets do.

My mom is always telling me, "But you can never go on vacation or anything." I just say I have no money to go on vacation, and now that I'm sick I don't want to go anyway. I'd much rather have the unconditional love of my critters.

I second that..pets don't lie, don't stab you in the back, undermine you at work, cheat on you..I love my pets and think they are better people than most humans I have met.

I love that picture! It is so true!
I use to do a lot of pitbull rescue. We would get dogs from fighting raids and after everything these dogs have been through and how cruel humans have been, you can see how relieved they are just to get an ounce of compassion, and they are still such sweet loving animals. After my kids i got out of it...i couldnt help but keep 2 of them
