I can't change this pattern my birds adopted. Help!
I give them pretty much the same amount of food in the morning and at night when I get home.
I have noticed that most of the days I get home from work and their breakfast is not touched or just very little touched. So, to the squirrels it goes....
I usually give them dinner around 6-7, but they wouldn't eat till 8-9 unless I add eggs to their dishes.
Sometimes I want to go to bed at around 9:30, but Simba is still eating!!??
Should I take their food away quickly, so they get an idea that it's not available all the time, or not feed them at night one night so their breakfast looks better to them?
Any suggestions on how to change this pattern?

P.S. I have noticed they eat more of their breakfast and would eat their dinner early on a weekend when I am home, but I am not home during the week until 5-5:30.

What do you feed them? Is it the same thing at both breakfast and dinner?

Would it be possible to start your day a little earlier one morning (as an experiment) to see if they eat breakfast if you're in the room? It seems strange to me that they're more willing to eat when you are home. Like there should be a reason for it, but I can't think what it would be..
