Hello folks,

It seems in recent days I have gotten myself into the business of rehoming other people's birds. I am the same person who posted on the Macaw forum in search of an adoptive home for a Ruby. But I am enjoying this challenge, and determined to find a great home for 2 very bonded male TAGs.

These guys love boxes best of all, and while one is in perfect feather the other has been a bit overpreened by his bro-mate. The woman rehoming the birds rescued them from a disgusting home 5 years ago. A breeder had them and they would growl when people came close. Now, after much love and rehabilitation, they like to share food with their human and one even talks a little. They spend most of their time out of their travel cage (which they eat inside of) so they do not come with a cage. These two bro-mates must go together- they are bonded and will not be separated.

Feel free to ask any questions about the birds either through this thread or by PMing me. There is a modest adoption fee for the pair, and they will only go to an experienced, loving home (which is why I came here to search). :) You must be able to travel to the San Francisco Bay Area to meet them.

Very nice initiative. Hope those two will find a good family with your help!!!

awww, I hope you find a good home for them. I'm in San Jose so I'll ask a few of my bird friends.

Thanks lotosha and Copperarabian. Any assistance you can give to help me rehome these two guys would be great. The owner faces homelessness and so must rehome them relatively quickly. I would adopt them myself but I just adopted a CAG who deserves all the time I can spare.

That's so sad :( I might be able to foster them if you'd like. I'm taking a semester off of school so I'm home most days. I couldn't provide vet care and can only do transport within my area. If you're interested I'll talk to my mom about it.
