My 3 month old IRN keeps bullying me, he get really noisy when he doesn't have "treats" in his cage lol.

I spend about 5 minutes clicker training him with millet a few times a day and
afterwards he will squawk when I look away from him and when I look at him he will
open his mouth wide.

Common sense tells me he's being greedy and wants more treats lol, am I right?

I give him honey and nut treats which hang in his cage too which help keep him quiet for an hour or two, although he seems to prefer millet so I use that as his training tool. He seems to only eat one side of the hanging treats almost in their entirety which causes the rest of it to fall off the plastic onto the ground and he'll refuse to eat anything from his cage floor lol.

I am not sure how much experience you have with handling and working with IRN's or Parrots in general! Nor am I sure that you are aware of just how much time Parrot's require.

Young Parrots are not greedy, and nor do they require any more than a baby Human! When they want /need food or attention they call for it! The precise same thing a baby Human would do.

FYI: It is NEVER the fault of the Parrot! It is ALWAYS the fault of the Human! When the Human views all interactions from this vantage point, the Human more quickly sees what they are doing wrong and can quickly make changes. You're viewing near everything from the point that it is the Parrots FAULT!

Change your vantage point! Increase the time you are spending with your Parrot. Understand that your have a 'baby' here that requires Love, Attention, and consistent feeding. That is Common Sense.

Thanks for the reply!!!

I'm not sure how I could spend more time with him than I currently do though, unless we both decide not to sleep.
Also they stop being "treats" if I feed them him non stop.
