Hi There...My Double Yellow Headed Amazon parrot has Diahreaha which happened after she chewed up a piece of plastic cabinet last week. But, honestly I'm not sure if she swallowed any piece of the plastic, or this problem is caused by some bacterias. anyhow, the only help I could get in the area I live is to test her droppings. The avian claims, she does not carry any negative rated bacterias, but still suggested a dosage of Sultrim (antibiotic), but the other avian disapproving this medication, and he tells me to only give her a oral solution for the treatment of dehydration due to diahreaha. I've been giving her the solution for the past three days, but her situation has not changed. I'm not sure what to do at this point. Please help me.
