Hello,
i'm new to the forum (not that new to birds)
I thought I would finally sign up instead of just snooping around.
a quick introduction to myself,
my name is Bec, i live in Werribee (a town outside of Melbourne, Australia)
i'm an animal carer with The Lonely Pets Club (a company of people who walk other peoples pets, and look after their pets and house when they go away)
and also do a bit of freelance photography and graphic design.
as for my birds, we (myself and my mother) have really only gotten into serious bird owning over the last couple of years.
we have 3 green cheek conures (Zeph, Ziggy (both males) & Forest (the female)):
Zeph & Ziggy
Forest
a Kakariki named Riki:
ringnecks named Audrey (white) and Duke (blue)
and most recently, yesterday infact, i got my nanday which I named Remy,
obviously he's still settling in and getting used to us, he's sitting on my arm ripping up a tissue as i'm typing this lol
so that's pretty much it,
don't know what else i could say really, feel free to ask me anything in you're curious about...
in closing, here's Zeph posing for a picture
every time i ask him if i can take a picture, he says "picture!" and freezes on the spot until i take that picture lol
