Hello all,

I am happy to find this site! I have <had> two parrots. Amy,my B.F. is 25 yrs old. I got her when she was just 16 weeks old. A very beautiful and Smart birdie that she is! Loves to talk.She is not a screamer like most amazons can be. She loves all sorts of food,loves her baths with a misting bottle,throwing her head this way and that way,and shaking her "arms" to show off her beautiful plumage. She also likes to go for rides in the car,or go outside in the summertime.
I can have her on my shoulder,looking out the front door,and she'll say "outside?in the car?"

I also 'had' a beautiful Timneh Grey,Smokey. My poor Smokes passed away at her doctors this past Friday from a heart condition. She was only 27 yrs old. Amy is still very quiet,missing her bird chum,just as much as I am.

I hope I can contribute to this group and get some good BF advice.
