I everyone glad to have found this website lots of good information. Just joined and looking around the website on clipping nails mine( Blue/ Gold Macaw) I have had my guy now 24 years and have clipped his nails with my husband holding him in a towel. Works well but it's just one of those things I need to do more often! With that said yes have been a bit no huge being to lack on doing it more often and now I have a guy that is very painful to hold so just clipped him last night very little was wondering if anyone knows how long does it take for the quip to pull back up so that I may clip him again this time I'm going to be consistent ? I was thinking a week or ??? I have concrete perch but it has never done anything for my guy. So if anyone has that info that would be great. I always have blood stop on hand just in case,but don't want to make it a painful experience. Look forward to any advise and future forums. Thank you Jenny Lynn
