Parrots
Pepe-Mexican red headed amazon
So I have had Pepe my zon for 2 years...and he is 4. And the other day I heard him do something he never does. He barked:11:...I laughed so hard and had to be sure I heard right. I think he got it from the puppy I was babysitting. I was the cuties thing. What are funny sounds and words your fids do? :green1:

I am sure you laughed and could not stop, just wait till the alarm sound is imitated, your bird will then laugh LoL

Mishka talks non-stop 24/7
One of the funniest things Mishka says and to strangers is

"Did you poopie in the bathroom? go poopie in the bathroom"

His favorite sound is imitating my cellphone ring

My old Amazon George learned to bark after hearing my brother's border collie barking-- and George sounded exactly like her. :D George would bark anytime someone said the word "dog." :)

My Quaker parrot loves beeping sounds, and does a good imitation of the loud beeeeepppp that my toaster-oven makes when it's ready to shut off. :D

Frankie learned to mimic the sound of my office desk chair squeaking. It took me a while to realize what she was doing, but sometimes when I would set her on the back of my chair or hold her while I was sitting in that chair, she would make the squeaking sound. It was hilarious! Now, the chair doesn't squeak anymore, but she still does. :D

Frankie also tried to say a new word a couple days ago, but I couldn't quite understand what she said. It sounded like part of it was "bird", so it may have been her saying "Frankie bird" which is what I call her all the time. I was hoping she would learn her name...that seems to be so common for birds to learn but I've never heard her say it, and she was named that before I adopted her.

I have mentioned this before, but Skittles refuses to respond accordingly to "come here" of "step up". However, he says both. When he really wants to find you after you have gone out of site he will launch into a non-stop chorus of what sounds like "Come ear" and "stepup". He also clucks, but not like a chicken. He just says "cluck".

Awwwww those are all such cute sounds. Even though hes 4 I hope as he gets older he talks more

Diamond is back to what he had just started before moving home: just learning to make noise and figure out how to control it. He's made happy sounds that might be babbling in rough imitation of the bird sounds I've played during the day.

We have a 'too that says the word "chirp" and now our CAG does too. It's too funny.
