New novice bird owner

Hello,
Ive recently become the owner of a conure, ive never owned a bird and I've been doing as much research as I can to help me, then I came across this forum and joined!!
Im looking for as much help as I can get as becomimg the owner of my little one was very sudden but im thrilled about it!
My husband works full time but I'm always home having just finished my cancer treatment so I have plenty of time on my hands fpr this little guy :0)
