Hello Everyone,
My name is Kayla and I have been reading the forum for a couple months now and just decided to join.
I am not one to post much on the internet, so this is new for me.
Anyways... I have a 9 yr old Senegal parrot name Morocco. I have never had him DNA sexed, but i refer to him as a "he". I've read that if the undertail feathers are completely yellow that points to a male, so that's what I assume he is. That and he has never laid an egg! He is so cute and sweet (well sometimes ) haha.
My first bird was a cinnamon pearl cockatiel named Peep Peep. I loved her so much! Unfortunately she passed away at the age of 14 in September 2013. She had a mass in her abdomen, the vet assumes it was a tumor. She passed during the night at the vets office before they were able to run any test. I was completely devastated. I still cry just thinking about it.
Well that's my story... I will try and post some birdie pics asap!
