New member that needs advice :)

I bought a couple of LBs almost a month ago. Unfortunately DNA test is not available where I live so I had to rely on the pet shop owner who confirmed that they are a male and female. Of course I know that she can't be 100% sure.
Now After a month I have seen no eggs at all ...Is that an indication that I have 2 males or is that normal in winter?
Do LBs have season's of mating and/or laying eggs ?

You are wanting to breed?
Geeeee, breeding is such a complicated undertaking... do you have experience? help? an avian vet at hand?

I don't need two birds of the same sex
And yes breeding is not complicated where I live ...Have done it before twice but that was a long time ago,that's why I need advice

A month is to soon to expect them to breed in a new environment even if they are male and female. They need to bond first and get used to where they are and feel safe.

Can anybody please answer the question about seasons....Do LBs mate and/or lay eggs around the year or do they have seasons?

Breeding season is in the Spring when the weather warms up and when the days are getting longer. If you have to ask this very basic question though, you should probably not be breeding. The birds also need to be of sexual maturity to breed.

Yes this is correct. But with temperatures in the south US (think Florida, California, Texas) the weather doesn't change that much (compared to the Midwest with snowstorms) so some birds will lay eggs all year round if given the chance but is NOT recommended. Breeding and raising chicks is VERY hard on the parent's bodies and they need to be able to rest.

My main problem is trying to know the sex of my LBs which will only be confirmed here If/when I see any eggs
