Talyn ~ Black-Headed Caique
Hi everyone,
My Black-Headed Caique and I are here to learn from you! I have had my baby since she was about 5 or 6 months old. She is now about 8. I adore her, but things are not going so well. :-( I'm hoping this bird loving community will offer us the guidance we need, and perhaps we can offer some things too! Either way, we love to make new friends, so thank you for letting us be here! :41:

Thank you Antoinette. Mishka is beautiful! I've always loved African Greys. Hopefully I'll do this whole "forum thing" correctly, lol. I've stayed away from them because I never can keep track of who is saying what, where, etc. But I'm really struggling with what to do about my Caique, did a search, and came up here. So hopefully this will help. :)

Hi, nice to meet you! There are lots of kind people here ready to help with any of your parrot problems.

By the way, I absolutely adore caiques. Would you mind sharing a picture or two some time? I'd love to see your little girl.

Thank you for the welcome. I did post a couple of photos in an album. They aren't very good as my camera's photos are between 4 and 5 megs, so when I cut the images down this small, the quality really suffers. But you can get an idea of what she looks like. :)

Thanks for the welcome, and your inquiry. I'd be happy to fill you in on what is happening with Talyn. Is it okay to post it here or should I do it elsewhere so it isn't in the welcome section. Sorry, I'm really new to this whole thread thing, lol.

No problem! Under species specifics there's actually a caique section you can post in and depending on the issue there's more mini sections such as general parrot. Pretty much anything specific to do with your baby could go in the cauque section I would think. Thanks for asking! :)

this forum is the best i have been on so far and they helped me out a lot.
I am here because i love my feathered friends and im sure that is why we are all here .
Hope we can help lots of people and lots of love makes bird owning fun and a learning experience . Tammy
