Hi, found this forum and have enjoyed reading posts and learning lots. I have a Quaker, Lucille and a Goffin Cocktoo, Martin. Both are awesome. Martin is a 3.5 month old baby so it is fun to watch him mature.
No real problems or issues....he did have a little set back when he first arrived....he wanted to be hand fed again although he was already weaned. I had hand fed babies years ago so with a refresher course all was well. After a few days, he wasn't interested in being syringe fed so now he is on just his mix and plenty of veggies, fruit, etc.
I got my Quaker from a local lady who does an amazing job. My G2 came from Parrot Paradise in NJ although we live in Maryland. Just a few hours drive to heaven! LOL
