Hey everyone!
My name's Lita, and my little cinnamon is Reginald. I work at a chain pet store (please don't shout at me) and last year I fell in love with the GCC we had in store. I spent a month and a half researching everything I could about them and my boyfriend and I found a great deal on a cage, sealing the deal on bringing home the little guy.
Reginald turned 1 on February 5th of this year, and he's the best thing I've ever had in my life. He steps up and down easily, potty-trained himself (with encouragement from us), and gives high fives if you ask for them. He talks constantly, including murmuring "Say 'pretty bird'" to you while he sits on your shoulder. He is not sexed, but we believe he's a male based on behaviour. He's flighted and we're currently working on recall training, "stay," and harness training.
Here are some photos!
Jeremy, my boyfriend, after finishing putting together Reginald's cage (which we got, including dishes, the java tree, and some perches, for only $100!).
Settling into his new home.
After a bath.
Visiting Elly, a GCC we had at work after I bought Reginald.
Taking a bath in the kitchen sink after shooing my away from washing dishes.
