Hi,

My name is Denise, I have a galah cockatoo named Silva. I don't know what sex it is but figure that Silva will do any.
He's only a baby,I've had him 3 months. I've never had a cockatoo before and I am grateful for any advice.

Welcome! Galahs are wonderful birds with such a enchanting silly side. My guy is 12 years old now. He makes us laugh every single day. He's been a perfect companion. He says some pretty crazy things from growing up with teenagers in the house (they grew up and had kids of their own but he still says the outrageous things they taught him as wild teenagers LOL).

You should be able to tell the gender of your bird soon. Galahs can be sexed by eye color pretty reliably when they are mature.
