Hey guys im from northern maine and just picked up Nacho!! Shes a 3 years old White Bellied Caiques and im in need of any assistance i can get for starters!!! Thanks in advance!!

Welcome to the community!!! And congrats on bringing Nacho into your home and your family! Caiques are the little clowns of the parrot world, and they are also little love-bugs.
Where did you adopt Nacho? Do you know much of his history? At 3 years-old he's still just a baby, so you should have no issues bonding with him at all...Is he a hand-raised/hand-tame bird? And probably the biggest question is what is his regular, daily diet? If it's a low-fat, healthy, varied diet then that's great, but if it's not then that will be one of the first things you want to work on changing, but not until AFTER Nacho has settled-in to his new home, and it will be something that you'll want to change gradually, over-time...But hopefully his diet is already good and it's not an issue...
If you have any questions at all please don't ever hesitate to make a post and ask. We have a Caique-specific forum, I'm sure you've already found it, lol, as well as a Health forum to ask those types of questions, and then a general Questions and Answers forum for everything else. So please don't hesitate to ask anything at all...

Welcome to you and Nacho!! Your thread in the Caiques Forum should bring lots of advice and information! You may have to inquire for more specifics in other forums such as Behavioral, Parrot Food, etc.
