I think my hubby did a great job making the aviary for my two green thighed caique. Need more perches and toys. I am leaving it open for the caique to get use to seeing their new cages, as they are not keen on new stuff in the house.
Any suggestions for what else that can be included for the birds.

The more natural toys you can poot in there the better! and safe natural wooden perches are awesome for birds to destroy and it is really good for there feet! And I see you have a rope perch in there I'd be careful and watch for chewing on that because if a bird is chewing that and they ingest that that is gonna cause a blockage.

Thank you for your suggestions, they have natural wood in their other cages which will go into the new one when they are ready to move. i have a rope one in the other cages also they have been ok with them but will keep an eye on them just encase, they have some sand perches to help with their nails. Any more suggestions will be great.

i dont recommend sand perches since they really eritate the birds feets
oh i have not noticed that, they have lots if different perches to go on so maybe that is why they have been ok. But i will watch out for any reaction.

if there is maybe like one sand perch and the rest are natural they should be fine
there are sand perches that are only rough from the edges and the top is smooth so the bottom of their feet dont get hurt
