Hi I am new member here. I currently own a male parrotlet named Gizmo. I am in the process of trying to get a male normal green cheeked conure I love my parrotlet, but he is still afraid of me after a year, mainly because I didn't try bonding with him right away because he was scared of me. I have read a lot of information on Conures, and they seem like a great pet bird to own and enjoy. I also hope that he will provide some companionship to Gizmo, although I realize they can not be in the same cage together. I welcome any advice on getting Gizmo to not be afraid of me.
