Hi,
I recently became the proud owner of my little blue parrotlet named Lulu. A few weeks later I became the mommy to a conure named Petey. Of course, Petey could be a girl or boy as it hasn't been DNA tested. I found this forum when I goggled if conures could purr! Mine most definitely does purr. This is met first at indoor birds. I raise peacocks! So when can you get your bird DNA tested?
Thanks,
Terry

Hello Terry! Welcome to the forums! We'd love to see pics of Lulu and Petey if you'd care to share.

You can have Petey DNA tested any time. You can request a collection kit, send a blood sample or a few breast feathers to the lab and have your results within a few days. There are several labs to choose from. I've used this one.
