Hi I'm new here and the new mommy of a 4 year old brown throated conure. We have had him for about a month and its going great he was really kind of aggressive but a few days ago he started letting me pet him and yesterday was his first day out of the cage. I'm 20 years old and this is my first time owning a bird.

Welcome. I went to the pet store to buy food and they had a red belly conure. He followed me in his cage so iI tried to pet him. No. He just wanted to follow me. .

I don't want one but I do enjoy looking.
