Hello! 
My name is Tris, and I live in BC Canada! I'm semi-new to actually owning birds, but I've worked with them for years. I just wasn't able to actually have a feathered friend of my own! But now I can <3
I currently own two rescued hybrid conures named Piña, and Willow. I got Piña first a few months back, and her and I have become best friends!
I recently adopted Willow, who I am currently trying to socialize.
Both of them have a rather sad story. They were both abandoned, and I'm not sure on Willows story, but Piña was found in a box covered by a coat at a liquor store. Both of their wings were found totally wrecked, and Piña's left leg is pretty messed up. She can't lift it very high, if at all. The vet is unsure about her leg, but it looks like it'll be this way for the rest of her life.
They were both un-socialized and afraid of everything. Oddly enough, they don't bite.
I've worked with Pina and she is now no longer afraid, lets me pick her up, give her pets, snuggles and kisses, and she even knows a few tricks! She also likes to preen my hair <3 hehe
Just have to train Willow now
I look forward to getting to know everyone here, and seeing everyones beautiful birds!
