Hello - My name is Julie and I have a 2 year old male CAG named Dante, and I have a new baby Eclectus named Picasso who will be coming home soon. I had an Eclectus named Gomez (my Avatar), who died the day after surgery for a broken leg.
I have put up a website in the hope that it will help somebody avoid what Gomez went through. I'm trying to put my family back together the best I can. We'll never forget Gomez, but we wanted another green head to kiss and Picasso fits the bill nicely. Hopefully the top of his head won't get worn out from too much kissing.
Unfortunately I am still battling the vet. He is very well know, and fighting him has been a horrific experience.
The latest is:
Yes, you heard correctly.
For those not familiar with my parrot Gomez’s tragic end the day after surgery for a broken leg, details can be found at my website at http://www.VetsGoneBad.com
The vet’s assistant has now posted at http://www.insiderpages.com/b/3710898971 that they offered euthanasia as an alternative to doing surgery on Gomez’s broken leg (scroll down to post by Darlene H).
My response to Darlene’s post can be found at:

I apologize if my posts are tedious, but I completely trusted this highly recommended vet and, if it can happen to me, it can happen to you. I’m assuming it’s not a far leap to assume that most people would want to know about a vet who thinks euthanasia is a good suggestion for a 7 month old Eclectus parrot with a broken leg. There are also other updates on my site regarding recent events.
Thank you for the support I’ve received during this horrible time, which has been made even worse by this vet, and now his employees.
Julie
