Went shopping today :D .... yah, shopping therapy is goooooooooooooood!

I got them some new pellets (ZuPreem Classic Avian Maintenance Natural Diet yadda yadda yadda - big sack, 2.5 pounds! for $15.59), LM Oats and Groats (they smell SO yummy!) and KayTee Natural Spray Millet - yum! THEN I got some wooden bits, some popsicle sticks, and other toy making stuff.

Shopping therapy that is not a waste of money is soo gratifying :D

I made a sort of ladder from cording and popsicle sticks, but I think I am going to re-make it. Drilling holes would work much better than how I did it lol.

Wow your fids are gonna love all the nice new things you got them.

I have palnned to make toys by myself but I think I will have a problem on choosing safely coloured material...

Yesterday I bought Phoebus some new toys, a spiral for birds with bell and some rings on it, an other wooden toy for parrots also with a bell and various shapes , and from a baby toystore a small plastic hellicopter which today doesn't look at all like a hellicopter, she loved it, wouldn't leave it from her feet yesterday, and an other toy made of cloth that makes noise when you shake it, which she doesn't like and attacks it....:D

I'm sure your fids will love them Indigo, have fun all of you! :)

I made a bunch of toys for Pepsi and she was scared to death of my toys. Hopefully you have more talent and better luck than myself. :p

Well thats a new one, scare her into not laying eggs. :D Wonder if its gonna work. :D

I'd think it would just scare the eggs outta her lol

LOL actually the vet said they lay eggs when they are content with their surroundings and suggested changing the cage regulary and adding certain toys or things that she doesn't like. :) Of course if Daisy turns out to be DUke then I will be wanting to encourage some egg laying. I want Daisy to be a boy SOOOOOOOOOOO bad LOL baby teils are just the cutest.

If she is a he, then you may just find that she won't lay as much as she's laying now. Leo will only lay when they have been mating, never any other time, She's at it again, and has made herself quite the lovely little nest. :D

Now you've gotta get Daisy sexed :D or wait for nature to take its course. :D
