Hi All, after very sadly having to re-home my 2 very special RB2 Boys(one who I hand raised from 2 weeks old, re-homing him was one of the hardest things I have ever done!!) due to a severe allergy in the family from the dust they produce, I have just welcomed a beautiful 5month old (dust free) Eclectus Boy into the family. He will arrive here tuesday.
He has already developed a large vocab and was talking before he was 3months old! His Name is Zan, his father is a red sided eclectus and his mother a vosmaers

Here are a few pic's of him that the breeder sent me He is trained to harness so I will be ordering him one shortly.

This is the one breed of bird that I wish I had more interactions with ... I have only handled one or two eekies, and from what everyone says they are amazing birds ..

Hi Blue Moon Tasy here from Australia your wonderfull neighbour, LOVE your eckie i have a two year old boy just like yours and he is my best mate he sits at the dinner table and eats with me , gets the kids from school with me and goes to the corner shop and basically never gets of my shoulder. He talks heaps also, my advise is give him as much attention as you can and feed him spruoted seed and lots of vegies, fruit etc, also they love getting wet at least once a week. Best of luck with him

If I had the money I would consider these guys, everyone says theyre great pets! Sorry to hear about your other guys though
But think posotive, theyre going to a good home, they'll be cared for, and no one wil have to worry about allergies.
