I finally bought a 12 piece set of stainless steel cookware.... I have been very careful with my old non stick but now it goes to Goodwill.....

So far so good, Have not burned anything... I remember from having stainless a long time ago you have to use lower heat and stir more often.

1st meal was Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken.... yummy even if I do say so myself...

I can notice a difference in the smell in the kitchen when the pan is heating up....

Best investment yet....

For sure stainless steel is different to cook with. You have to hand dry them also or the pots get discolored. When are you going to cook some of that Texas chili?

Abby loves you for it.... my partner give all the non stick to goodwill the day I brought Willie home. We like the stainless steel pans better anyway... :)

High five Mike, stainless steel is super.........
We also changed all our cookware when Mishka became part of our family.
Now talking about that Texan chili !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm kind of a cookware/kitchen gadget snob. I have an amazing set of stainless that I got about 8-10 years ago. I'll never go back to non-stick, even if we didn't have birdies. Just a little bit of cooking spray or real butter or olive oil, and everthing tastes soooooooo much better.

Jade and Ruby also love that I won't stack my cookware in the cupboard so it's all hanging from a pan rack in the kitchen. Such a wonderful perch and jungle gym! Granted the pans usually have to be washed again before use due to bits of pellets and feathers in them. Jadie-Jade is a very proficient climber...
