New Conure owner here

Hi, My son (16 yo) just got a pet Conure. It was a good choice because I've had parrots before- an African Grey which my ex has now, (as it was really his), and a couple of cockatiels.
So, Gumbo is his name, and he's your typical conure, chewing on anything he can get his beak on, but he's also very affectionate. When you scratch his neck he leans against your hand to cuddle. Funny guy.

So, I know the basics but I know I'll have certain questions here and there.

Welcome and be welcomed. Is Caius going to be doing all of the dirty work thats involved in owning a parrot? Feeding, watering, cleaning cage and playstand, bathing, and training him on the parrot basics (step up, no bite ) ?
