New cage

I got the new cage for my blind lovebird (I had to order it, and they sent me six by mistake and I still have to sort that out!). It was really difficult to locate a cage that was long and low. As you can see, Quinn the cockatiel stands guard on top. When he's out of his cage, he spends all his time by Monkey's cage now, but so far the adjustment is okay - they new cage is in his sightline from the old one and he's not noisy about the change. He did nip me this morning when I went to put him back in his own cage. And when I left the room the other day my kids let him in Monkey's new cage and he fought me on coming back out. Monkey seems to like it, though. He stays on the bottom, but he comes up to the seed cup when we all sit around the table for meals. I don't really want a birdcage on the dining table, but I think it's good for him because he gets socialization without having to come out.

Glad, things are going well with Monkey's new cage.
Ordered one, get six. I guess at this point, the most important thing is how many did they charge you for. This will either make it fairly simple or far more complex!

Best of Luck!

I checked, and they charged me the price for one. I've contacted the seller and they are having FedEx come to pick up the box of cages that remain. If I were less honest, I wouldn't have said anything and tried to sell them off myself, but this clears my living room more quickly.

Happy it was the simple easy possible out come! And, good for you for simply 'doing what is right.' You made a friend with the seller and adjusted life a little more in your favor!

Well, thank you, but I have had him since he was a juvenile (dark spot on beak and grey face when I got him) and I've had him for sixteen years now, so this doesn't seem like anything special to me. The old housing situation wasn't working anymore.
