New cage.

I am thinking of getting a new cage. its pretty big but I'm worried they may be able to fit through the bars. Can a green cheek fit through a1 inch space?

Yes, 1 inch is too big for a GCC. I think 5/8" is the largest I would go.

I agree. Bigger than that and it will have too much trouble climbing, and could get it's head stuck.

I had 1inch with my jenday and it was too big, so yes, definitely too big for a GCC!

My jenday is on the small size though, I know of others with jens and suns that have no problems with 1inch spacing.

I have seen youtube videos of green cheeks climbing right out one inch spacing.

I wish there was a way to make it work. because I could probably get the cage for free. And its huge. I think the measurements are 4 foot wide 6 foot yall and 2 or 3 deep. But I don't want to do anything bad for them. And I don't think their cage is too small. It is 1 and a half feet square and 4 feet tall.
