New cage soon and painting question

I am picking this cage up second hand this saturday for my soon to be here caique. Seems in good shape and does come with a seed guard.
Couple questions though... Does anyone know what model cage this is or manufacturer? Current owner doesn't and i would love to get some reviews before i pick it up.

Also i would love to repaint it black. Any advice on this. Paints i need to stay away from etc?

It looks like a powder coated cage, and I wouldn't paint it... Also I wouldn't have the skills to do it...

If you were to repaint it you would have to ask the paint store what are the non toxic safe paints to use. Usually paints that are used to paint kids toys & so on.

My hubby painted one of my parrot cages & they are OK. You could also see how much it will cost to have it powdered coated again. I think we used 4 cans of spray paint on our cage. It was getting a bit expensive in the end.
