I am thrilled to announce our new addition. We recently adopted Reilly, an 11 yr old Blue Crown Conure. He is such a delightful little guy. He is full of personality - laughs like a crazy person, talks like the Swedish Chef, dances like Elaine, makes cartoon snoring noises when he is sleepy. Every morning when I uncover his cage, I am greeted with a giant "BIRDIE BIRDIE BIRDIE" 
Overall he is a very happy little soul.
He had a blast on the 3 hr ride home. Laughing, dancing, talking up a storm and eating. He fit right in with us. He has some cage issues, but will readily come out on a perch, happily stating "step up". He will now let me scritch his head and touch his feet, is taking very well to clicker training and seems to be happy 24/7.
I am new to BCCs, but everything I read seems to suggest they are indeed happy little birds.
