New behaviour

So my senegal Patrick has started to do something new and I'm not sure what it means.

His irises go really small and he starts to lightly chomp his beak together rapidly.

I'm not sure if this is excitement or fear.
He does it when I give him monkey nuts and has never done it before today (even with monkey nuts).

It sounds like eye pinning - which i think is one of those behaviours that can mean different things depending on circumstance and personality, but in this case it sounds like he's doing it out of excitement to be getting the treat. Type 'parrot eye pinning' into Youtube and you'll get some examples. Nothing to worry about!
