Here is a new picture of my baby RF. I am still thinking of names. I like Ramsey. He is 5 weeks. Soon he will have his feathers and be on his way to looking less like a dinosaur and more like the beautiful birds they are. Even so they are so cute at this age.

Brought back memories of when i first saw my baby. There adorable at this age, then they learn how to bite hahahha.

Awww....such a cute parrot. Look at those feets! HUGE! RFM feet are large almost three inches long!

I remember being in your shoes waiting for my Valentino. Wendy pulled Valentino's clutch at 6 weeks (each pair is allowed to raise babies to a certain age so depending on the pair she will pull at certain age. Valentino's parents were the last pair to have babies and Wendy was sweating it out because the previous two pairs produced all females and I wanted a male (was going to say ordered a male but that sounds really strange) I remember the email she sent me telling me the youngest in the last pair had a male.

Presenting 6 week old Valentino helpless and vulnerable. I love his fuzzy grey butt. Soon your RFM will look like this.

Thank you everyone. I cant wait to get him. Noblemacaw Valentino is so cute. I cant believe that picture he is a week older than my chick. I cant wait to see my babies picture next week.

I can't wait to see pictures of your RFM baby at 6 weeks old. For Valentino's clutch they had two females and one male. Valentino was the youngest of that clutch. Wendy did pull the babies at 6 weeks I believe it was when Valentino was 6 weeks because his parents do a very good job with raising their babies so she lets them keep them longer than other pairs.

I want to see your RFM at 6 weeks because although Wendy pulled the babies at 6 weeks I can only guess that since this was the first pictures she sent to me I guessed that Valentino was at 6 weeks in the above picture. He looks a lot more feathered out than your baby at 5 weeks old and I wonder at one week later would the babies feather out that much.

Did the breeder DNA sex your baby? Are you getting a male?

My baby was incubated and hatched. The breeder hand feeds from day one. I cant wait to see him getting his feathers. He didn't DNA. I don't know what mine is. it doesn't matter to me but I am going to ask him if he will or I will when I get him.

Gorgeous baby pictures....I think babies are so cute....
