New Baby :) Name suggestions please...

Back when I got my sun conure 6 years ago, I had the choice between a sun conure and an Indian Ringneck... I went with Mango the sun conure, and I adore him, but ringnecks were always in the back of my mind. Well...I have this horrible habit of looking at birdbreeders.com and falling in love with babies that I can't buy....Well, I saw this adorable little baby ringneck whose a DNA male, the price wasn't too bad...and well...I just put a deposit on him ....Any name suggestions would be welcome. My CAG is Niles and sun conure is Mango. I'm also hearby banning myself from birdbreeder.com browsing... I can't fall in love with any more babies

The blue coloring in this species is fantastic. I keep on thinking of the name Aztec. I useally try to think of a different name. One you do not hear very much.

I like two of the ones mentioned best; Skylar and Aztec. He is adorable!! I know what you mean about banning yourself from bird sites selling birds (lol). I had to do the same thing. That is how I ended up with 5 parrots. I can not resist them! Congrats on your new baby! He is absolutely beautiful!

I have a male blue ring neck too. His name in Charlie. We did consider Gabriel though.

I sort of thought he had more of a emerald coloring ,lolol.
Oh , what do you know , with my glasses ON , he looks bluish !!
Aztec is a nice name though .

i kinda saw emerald too in the picture...he doesnt look like a green ringneck though...and hes listed as blue...maybe its the bright blue background...makes him look less blue?...i cant wait to see him in person...im thinking i have a little over a month to go thanks for the name suggestions....its so hard to name them...they live so long and i dont want to give them a name i wont like in 20 years
...it literally took me a month to name niles....i read so many baby name websited and finally chose NIles bc of Frasier...everyone told me how nervous greys could be...i thought his personality matched what everyone said about greys....niles is a little love though..he sounds like elmo when he babbles.

Before coming up with Boomer for our sun conure Boomer, we were going to name him Icarus if he was a boy. Icarus!

He has amazing colors either way . Sometimes you just have to get to know him before you can name him. I understand . We recently brought home baby goats , all does , first two, I had no problem naming . Then the third , no problem. But when we got to the fourth , I drew a blank ! Could not agree on a name ! But finally I named her Bunny , lol.
So now we have , Tricky , Pixie , Dixie and Bunny . If we come across a brown and white Nubian doe , her name will be Daisy , lolol. Idk......go figure

I love the name Aztec-- really beautiful and unusual. I am always taken aback by the color of this species too.

Thanks for all the suggestions...I like them all but am still not sold on which one....I've also gotten suggestions of Petrie (the raptor in the land before time movie...brings back childhood memories lol), Mo (for Mariano Rivera) we are yankee fans here and according to my family this bird better be "the closer" of my flock for quite awhile, and Louie..Louie comes from my Mom having a missionary her church supports called Velu who's from India. I feel strange naming a bird after someone I don't know haha so I figured Louie is part of that name. I like the idea of naming birds according to where they are from. Some other friends have recommended Raj or Raja too. Ahh..its so difficult to come up with names!
