I am so happy to announce that I am going to be a B&G macaw mommy! I have always owned scarlets, and I really was hoping to get one, but when I saw this B&G, she stole my heart away! I am so excited and I am counting down the days until she is shipped to me! I feel like I wanna cry, dance, squeal and just do this huge happy dance!!!

What's even more is that I am helping out the people who are adopting her to me. Their 10yo daughter recently just died in a car crash, so the money that I paid is going towards a memorial to her in their church. So please, say a little prayer for them, I know I will be.

I feel good! SO EXCITED!! OMMIGOSH! :D :D :D

How exciting!!! SO very happy for you!!!! :D

My heart goes out to the family who lost their 10 year old daughter. My prayers and good wishes go out to them. What an absolutely tragic loss. :(

I am so happy for you, and broken hearted for this families loss. Never have I heard of a
re-home fee going to such a good cause.
They will be in my prayers for sure.
When will you be getting him?

Hopefully will be getting her next Thursday, when I am able to make a full payment to the Courier. Trying to get the money together today for the reservation fee, so far it's not looking so good :(

Where did you find her? What courier service? I only ask because i have seen several scams where they mention a courier, and there always seems to be a sad story attached. Most people use the airlines to ship. Please just make sure things are on the up and up. You can take one of the pictures of the B&G and put it into google search to see if the picture shows up somewhere else on the web. I am hoping that I am worrying for nothing, but a little research may be in order:)

Oops, I meant to say Google image search.

I agree with Terry. I hope it's not a scam but don't send money without a little research, especially that much money!! Good luck and I hope you get your dream bird. :)

Yes please don't fall for a scam!!!!!! Always meet them in person and pay in person!!!

I have actually spoke with the lady on Skype and she showed me the macaw and everything that comes with him. She is shipping him to my house today, because it was an urgent re-home (I asked the reason, her family is moving overseas and she can't bring him with her. She showed me the military orders and everything over the call)

I appreciate everyone's concern. To answer the question, I found him on birdsnow.com. I entered the pictures she sent me into google and nothing came up but the ad that i found her on

What a HUGE relief!!!! :) I was biting my nails here!

Please post some pics of your new baby once you have him home safe and sound, could you? :D

I am also thrilled to know it is not a scam.. I was quite worried.
Can't wait to see pictures of your new baby!

Did you get him yet? I am so excited to see him:)
