When you have a Male and Female of the same species, in this case Yellow-Naped Amazons. It is important to understand that even if they have been great friends, there will be times when separation is just a good idea, i.e. their own cages with some kind of separation, possible a cover on one side.
If you have only had this pair for a short two weeks, you have no idea how they may interact and as a result, they need to be separated when you are not keeping a close eye on them.
As stated above: A ton more information is really need to provide anything more than this.
How long you have had them?
Are they a Bonded Pair?
Are they Companion Parrots or a Breeding Pair?
And, a ton more information, please.
Also, Welcome to Parrot Forums!
FYI: If you have not read at least the two Threads at the top of the Amazon Forum, please do so.
