My female tiel keeps on laying eggs. They are infertile. She lays them and I leave them until she looses interest then I throw them out then she lays more. My question is should I get her a nest box to lay them in? She is currently laying them in her foodbowl which is a little inconvenient at best but Im sure she cant feel very secure sitting on them in the open space of her cage. What do yall think? Nest box or let her keep laying in the bowl? Also any tips on how to make her stop laying would be nice as well. Ive heard about using porcelain and wooden eggs to trick her. Anyone tried this?
