nervous any ideas?

My 5 week old quaker I got Saturday has been bobbing its head up and down very fast almost constantly since I got it. Sammy does stop and look around but when anyones near it bobs its head. Its starting to make me nurvouse I may have to take a video tomorrow and link it here for you. But ive went to youtube and searched baby bird bobbing head and they do nothing like my sammy he has a very fast bob and not to the ground and then high he does like we shake our head yes.

Is this normal? Is it nervous when were around? Could that be reason?

It sounds like a regurgitation bob, many parrots often do this when they're excited or happy to see someone. My GCC will do this with me and only me, and try to "feed" my fingers. She has yet to fully regurgitate anything (thankfully!) on me, but it's very, very common. I wouldn't be too concerned.

Just do try to be careful and always observe this - I did just read that a member watched their fid do this and it turns out their bird ended up choking on some of the regurgitated mush. Thankfully everything turned out okay! Nothing brings about paranoia like being a parront, haha!

No he does this full or not with me. I formula feed three times a day. I keep seeds and a seed stick in his play tree (its in like a hourse feed dish) and aquarium ,(for night time) always and he loves the seed stick and trys to get seeds from the dish but hasnt yet.

Also another question
Should I put sammy on seeds or pellets? Both? Also what pellet brand is best?

Pellets are considered better. There are a few choices zupreme natural, Harrison's, and lafeber's are generally the ones people talk about. You may need to try different ones to see which one Sammy prefers.

I'll give a shout out for TOPS. My personal feeling is to feed both pellets and seed. Main diet should be fresh with pellets always available and a little bit of seed.
