Another reason Venus is locked in her cage when she isn't being watched, she has an electric cord fetish. Tonight Husband and I went looking for lamp hardware to get my favorite lamp running again. Well being the computer nerds we are we go the lamp stand(bottom), correct bulb size and wattage, yeah!!! Get home and realized it didn't have a plug. (sigh). Back to square one.

That Venus is really something isn't she? Hope you get your lamp working again and keep the jailbird out of more trouble

We are on round two tonight. We didn't get the right lamp kit so today we went and got another lamp kit ( no we are not electricians), and this evening has been Venus day because she has been in everyone's business.

1. We picked up a small grill so we could grill steaks tonight. Assembly required. As we were assembling, out of no where, husband reaches in the grill box on the floor next to me and Venus lunges out of the box. She claimed a new box. Mine, mine, mine.

2. Before we got home from grill shopping, we stopped at Sonic and I got a small blue coconut nerd slush. Get home and who appears on my lap? Yep. That led to a major battle over my cup, see picture below. Sorry I was greedy and didn't share even told her it was mine.

3. We took jalapeño poppers to my niece this evening after making dinner and Velcro Venus wouldn't let me be so she went with us. I think she's been socialized a bit too well. OK spoiled too, a tad. Trust me Buddy isn't left out, he's not as adventurous, but he is my shower buddy, and he's spoiled with food.
