It seems like I have been waiting forever, but now he's finally coming home. It's funny but all the sudden I'm nervous. Nemo is a 12 week B&G macaw. He's on two feedings a day. I have been going and feeding him at least one meal a day for the past couple of weeks. He usually spends most of the day at the pet store on top of their cage on a playtop. This leads me to my first question. He is pretty sure footed but I'm a little concerned about his cage here at home. It's HUGE! I mean huge. I guess it's like 6 times he size of the cage he is currently in. Is this going o freak him out? I also have a separate playstand for him. When I bring him home should I place him in his cage or put him on the playstand or should I just hold and pet him? I don't want to be too aggressive and scare him. How many toys should I have in his cage? I need to calm down.
