Need to rehome gcc in Iowa

Wife and I are separating and i can’t take my 2 year old gcc with me. Comes with large cage. Located in Iowa. Asking small adoption fee.

I am sorry to hear you have to rehome your gcc. I am in Iowa but unfortunately am about to welcome some babies so my hands are tied but I really hope you can find a home. If you are on facebook, join 'Birds for Sale in Iowa and Surrounding States' and post there, you are very likely to find someone looking for a gcc.

your like 2 1/2 hours away. Do you want an open?... might want the bird back after things settle down, ...or pretty sure this is permanent. I can help out either way, but I'd like to know up front. Also I've read your previous posts, seems to be a well mannered bird.

If no other takers, I can home him/her for a while or forever. Do you know the birds sex? I have a male GCC.

What kind of adoption fee? I understand for the cage, remaining food, toys etc. I have no problem with that unless it's exorbitant.

What words does he say(if any) and which commands do you use, for instance I've never used "step up", I say "come on"....etc.

Any health issues? or allergies? has he/she been around any other birds as far as predicting behavior to other birds?

I could come down this weekend sometime if it's still what you need.
