- i currently own a rescue cockatiel but have owned quakers and caiques hopefully i will own a cockatoo or smaller macaw soon!
How common are Rose Breatsed Cockatoos/Galah in the USA and any opinions on having them as pets we just adopted a 5yr old female from a situation where a lady had 36 birds and gave her up but owned her parents we paid $2652 pricey I know but we couldn't leave her at the petshop we own 2 green cheeks and have a sun conure flying in from the breeder we pickup at the airport Monday we have experience with CAG TAG caiques so it's our first cockatoo she's a bit nippy and is a little plucked not terrible but we visited her twice at the store before getting her and she took treats from our hands and danced for us so any tips or opinions and info would be wonderful thanks guys also what's the best food they have her on a all seed diet with fresh corn carrots and peas I know that seed isn't good for them
