Parrots
Misty ~ Cockatiel,
Sidney ~ Jenday Conure,
Paulie ~ Blue Crowned Conure
hey guys the websight has come along way but I thought it would be great if I could add a section titled which one's for me or somethin like that - the websight is geared mostly toward small and medium sized parrots so if you have a quaker, cockatiel, budgie, linny, senegal,or conure or similary sized birds please post an attractive pic of your FID and a personality description this is to help people who are trying to decide what species they want instead of having to go all over the place looking for info if that makes since if Ihave multiple posts on the same species I will include both or all and I'll be sooo glad when that movie comes out so i don't have that creepy advertisement on there! http://www.freewebs.com/pauliesparrots/

Kelli I love that idea!!! I'll get something togther about Senegals and post some pictures for you!!!

Here is a little something on Senegal Parrots for you to use on your website.

Senegal Parrots

Senegal parrots are smaller sized parrots, usually 9 inches in length and an average of 125 grams. These little birds do not seem to know they are this small and are known to chase larger birds even cats around. They are very energetic and quite acrobatic. There for, the larger the cage the better with many toys and swings for these little guys. They have limited talking ability but some can learn to speak quite a few words. Their voices are very quiet and almost sound like a little robot speaking. Senegals are great at whistling and will mimic many sounds around the house. Senegals are typically quieter then most birds but can let out a good scream when they want to. Senni's typically bond to 1 or 2 people and can become very jealous of anyone else with their favorite person. They are very sweet to their favorite person most of the time. Senegal Parrots can become prone to developing phobias, usually after sexual maturity so introducing these guys to new things should be done at an early age. Senegal parrots make great pets for someone looking for a small entertaining parrot.

Hope this helps Kelli let me know if they're is anything else you would like.:D

Budgie

Budgies are have a big personality for such small birds. For something normally 5 inches without the tail, they are sometimes able to do tricks, and talk. Budgies weigh about 36 grams the most. Unlike lovebirds, they are usually freightened of new surroundings, so some bit of hand taming and bonding is required for the best for the bird, luckily their bite will usually not hurt, and will very rarely break the skin. Lone budgies will come exceptionally attached to the owner and his/her family. Usually when they are paired or live in a flock, they aren't as attached to you as they would alone, but since these little wonders are very social, it is better off with a companion if you go to work or school. Budgies are pretty quiet compared to most of the larger parrots, and don't make much of a mess. Budgies are very easy to breed, most pairs will breed wherever there is room, so it is best to keep adult males and females seperate! Budgies are the most common bird in the USA, and there is no question why, since they are inexpensive, small birds with a heart of gold.
