Need ideas

What can i do with a bunch of nylon rope, plastic baby rings..thin and thick...shiney rings and 400 plastic balls..the kind u see in a ball jump for kids.
I volunteer at a parrot rescue and want to make stuff.

My only suggestion is to leave some amount of the items separate. Or minimally attached. The Rb doesn't like complicated toys, as a rule... maybe a rope with a few attachments, maybe foot-toy stuff, maybe some of those big balls cut up into "playable" stuff for little guys. I'm guessing the stuff is non-toxic.

Sounds like fun! Pictures, please, if possible, of resulting mayhem/destruction/excitement?

I'd make an obstacle course ...with bit of cheese along the way and time clark to see if he improves... or I'd make a wall off balls and see if he goes around or pushes through because he might be so alpha.

Assuming the plastic balls are of the hollow, soft, chewable variety-

1. Cut some in half. Drill holes in the tops. Cut lengths of the cord and string the rings/beads on them. Basically- make some toys that look like "jellyfish"

2. Make holes in some balls just big enough to tightly wedge a nut in. Let the parrot chew the nuts out

3. For big birds, make a chain from the baby rings and hang balls from it. Be sure to poke a couple holes in each ball so the birds have somewhere to stick their beak to get started chewing

Those are my ideas. Hope you'll let us know what you end up doing with all that!
