Need ID on parrot type bird given to me

Have been given a parrot type bird blue grey in color no other colorings on feathers other than lighter grey on chest and neck...beak is horn colored n feet are dark grey...Bird is approx. 12 inches head to tail feathers....any ideas? Have looked in several parrot books to no avail. Thanks for anyones help

Is it a monk parakeet?

it could be a quaker(monk). maybe a palib blue or some other blue morph since it was described as a grey blue

It does sound like the blue quakers aka monk parakeet.
