I have a pair of cockatoos
the female is adjusting very well, and bonding with me, the male is not doing so well. alot of screaming, and biting, sometimes hissing. I am wondering if there is any hope.

It sounds as if your birds are fairly new to your home? Either way, of course there is hope. You can probably train any animal to not bite, if you put in enough time and commitment. Birds usually only bite if they are stressed or if they have trust issues with the person they are interacting with.

I have no experience with cockatoos so I can't really give advice on this type parrot, but you can do it. I know that there are lots of other people on this forum who have the experience and the knowledge to assist you with this matter.

Good luck
