So I have an aviary in my bird room, and it is in front of an outlet. I built a wire cage around the outlet and put the extension cord in a tube of fleece, because Loki and Bailey were chewing the cord.
The next problem started when they decided they were going to nest behind the aviary. I need to block off behind the aviary so they can't get back there. The room is small but I could move the aviary to another wall, but that would mean running an exposed extension cord around the room, because there is only one outlet. Can anyone think of anything I can do to block off the back, from two hormonal lesbian conures?

What a handfulllllll!!!!!!
I'm thinking, buttttt... I'm just also giggling.

Oh, you might get a piece of armored conduit or cable. We bought lots of it to run through the house, and I forget exactly what it's called, but it's a three strand electric wire with a coiled metal tube around it. If you put a plug on the end of it, screw it into the outlet or use your cage, you can make a killer extension cord. My bird heater has a cord like that, it runs on the outside of the cage so they can't chew the cord through the bars.

Good luck with the birbs!

Thank you, I will look for that. We have different sized runners to protect the carpet, so I put the cord under there. We had to move it to another wall, but I like your cable idea way better, because the door gets caught now lol. Now they're looking at me like "what! Did, you do?!?" Hahaha
